Taste Smokehouse & Grill is a Caribbean smokehouse and bar at 201 Ringwood Road, Longham, Dorset. Come for jerk, grill and sharing feasts, stay for another drink, or hire the room for a wedding, reception or party. We also have four guest rooms on site.

We can host approximately 60 guests seated or 80 standing, depending on layout. Share your guest numbers when you enquire and we will recommend the best setup.

Yes. Smokehouse catering is the house special, and we can coordinate DJs, photographers, lighting and more. Choose a package or describe the night you want and we will handle the arrangements.

Yes, we have on-site parking for guests. We will confirm capacity and any access notes when you enquire.

We have four self-contained double rooms on site — handy after dinner or a party. Ask about our Stay & celebrate package when you enquire.

The bar is part of the night — cocktails, rum, a tropical-leaning wine list and low-and-no options. For events we run licensed bar packages. The White Hart next door is there if you want a quieter pint before you come over.

A deposit is usually required to secure your date. We will confirm the amount and payment schedule when we send your quote.

Yes. We host wedding days here — receptions as standard, and ceremony setup on site when the plan fits. Come and walk the room with us: catering, bar, photography, rooms for overnight guests, and what is possible for your date.

Restaurant hours: Wednesday to Saturday 5pm – 10pm; Sunday to Tuesday Closed. Those hours are for dining only. Guest rooms and private hire are available seven days a week, subject to availability. See the restaurant page, view the menu, or book a table online.
